I am dedicating this section to my Pastor, Teacher, Mentor and Instructor, Bishop Charles Henry Taliefero, entitled, “BISHOP CHARLES HENRY TALIEFERO (MY PASTOR AND MENTOR) CLASSIC BIBLE TEACHINGS.”

You will notice in the link on my Bio, I attribute my inspiration for studying and having a love of study for God’s Word to one person, Bishop C.H. Taliefero. The Bishop is now in Perfect Peace with the Lord. His teachings will always live on.

I realized that the Pastor’s teaching, during the time that I was his student, are wonderful treasures of knowledge. Bishop Taliefero had brilliance, creativity and revelation in bringing purpose to the study of the scriptures. For me it was innovative when I studied God's Word.

Bishop Taliefero was a scholar, theologian, academic and intellectual.

I could not have this BLOG/Site without having a section devoted and dedicated to my Pastor. Since I wrote over 600 pages of Bible Class Notes from the teachings of Bishop Taliefero as his student, I decided to post some of his great Bible Classes on line where everyone could have access.

Bishop Taliefero’s teachings were unique in that he taught on so many disciplines and related those to the Word of God. When I would go to his office, I saw books that literally filled his office. Shelves and shelves of books.  I asked Bishop Taliefero how many books did he have?  He said close to 3,000!  Amazing!

The Bishop’s teachings were so profound, that I have studied them over and over and over for years and still study them. The more I go over his teachings, the more I find it rewarding.

Bishop Taliefero was a true teacher from both the dictionary definition and the Biblical definition. He took the responsibility to present new concepts and understanding. He worked to enlighten his students.
Psalm 19:8 "The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

The Bishop was fit for his assignments from the Lord.
Ephesians 4:11 "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

The other motivation for me was having dialogue with the Bishop outside of his Bible Teachings. I would always ask questions and seek knowledge from him. Bishop Taliefero suggested so many great books to me and I purchased all of them.The teachings that I learned over the years from the Bishop have been a great benefit to me in teaching, writing and motivational and empowerment speaking.
In speaking to Bishop Taliefero one on one, I noticed he had and felt a conviction to fulfill his responsibility as a Shepherd, Pastor, Teacher and Overseer to the Body of Christ and Kingdom of God.

One of the most important things I learned from Pastor Taliefero was this; "The basis of true teachings of the scripture can only come from God. If the teaching of the scriptures is not in agreement with the Final Authority, (God's Word), it will not be true teaching."
